1. What Cookies Are
Cookies are small browser files used to keep the platform secure, remember session state, protect forms, and support reliable page behaviour.
2. Cookies SafeRide Uses
- Session cookies to keep authenticated users signed in.
- CSRF protection cookies or tokens to reduce form-submission abuse.
- Laravel and Livewire interaction state needed for dashboards, forms, and modal workflows.
- Optional analytics cookies only if SafeRide later enables privacy-reviewed analytics tooling.
3. No Advertising Cookies by Default
SafeRide should not use advertising, behavioural targeting, or third-party marketing cookies unless the platform publishes an updated notice and implements the required consent and privacy controls.
4. Managing Cookies
Users can block or delete cookies in their browser settings. Blocking essential cookies may prevent login, report submission, CSRF validation, Livewire actions, or secure dashboard use.
5. Related Privacy Controls
Cookie usage is part of SafeRide's broader privacy approach. See the Privacy Policy and Data Subject Rights pages for how personal information requests are handled.
